Monroe City Municipal Court

The Monroe City Municipal Court hears traffic cases and misdemeanor offenses cited by the Monroe City Police Department.

Court is held at 2:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall 109 Second Street in Monroe City, Missouri.

The Municipal Judge is Talley Smith 877-433-3061, extension 425.

The City’s Traffic Violation Bureau (TVB) is operated by the Municipal Court System. Tickets may be prepaid in advance of the court date by signing the upper right side of your ticket and remitting the signed ticket along with the fine and court costs according to the fine schedule in advance of the court date to Monroe City Municipal Court, 109 Second Street, Monroe City, MO  63456.  Payments may also be paid in person at City Hall, 109 Second Street, Monroe City, Missouri between the hours of 8:00 and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays.  No personal checks will be accepted.  Payment must be made by money order or cashier’s check.  You can also check your case at courts.mo.gov and if available, you may pay your fine through the court website.
