- Junk mail/paper
- Magazine
- Milk/juice jugs
- Newspapers
- Tin cans / beverage cans
Items NOT ACCEPTED for Recycling
- Cereal/soda/food boxes
- Disposable cups/dinnerware
- Garbage
- Glass
- Hypodermic needles
- Pills/medicine bottles
- Plastic wrap/bags
- Styrofoam
- Wrapping paper
Procedures
- Items to be recycled must be in clear plastic bags
Thrift Store
- Monroe City Sheltered Workshop also offers a thrift store for customers to browse and accept donations of gently used items, clothing, and furniture.
